Male Performer Understudy
We have an immediate opening for an African-American male Performer Understudy You must be a high energy performer with excellent vocal, movement and performance talent and skills
You must have a strong tenor or bass singing voice
be at least 18 years of age and appear 35 or younger.
be in good physical condition and be African-American
be between 5'8" and 6' 3"tall.
show enough dance/movement skill to be taught some tap dancing. (We will teach you if you are hired.)
Comic timing, acting skills and the ability to imitate popular culture icons such as James Brown, Barack Obama, Tiger Woods; are a plus, as is the ability to spoof ethnic and cultural stereotypes.
This is a paid full-benefit non-equity position. Benefits package: Employer-paid HMO with prescription drug benefit, paid vacation & sick leave; pre-tax transit plan and pre-tax unreimbursed medical account plus 401k eligibility after one year.
